This 4-hour sightseeing tour of Bucharest includes the famous Parliament Palace, Casa Ceausescu, the Village Museum, the Square of the Revolution, and a panoramic tour of the city.

The first stop will be in Revolution Square, where thousands of people put an end to a 45-year-long vicious regime. Get to understand the communist horrors and sufferings an entire nation had to endure. There are many impressive buildings around Revolution Square, such as The National Art Museum, the Kretzulescu Church, the Central Library University, and several others. You’ll get explanations about every sight. You won’t leave this area before admiring the Romanian Athenaeum, the symbol of Bucharest.

The tour of Bucharest continues with Casa Ceausescu Museum*. Built in the 1960s, this mansion was the private residence of Nicolae Ceausescu and his family. During your visit here you will discover Nicolae Ceausescu's passions, where and how he spent his time. Walls covered with handmade paneling, crystal chandeliers manufactured in Medias, Romania, handmade fabrics, and paintings by famous Romanian painters are just some of what you will see.

The Village Museum is the last stop of the day. Inaugurated in 1936, this outdoor museum boasts old traditional houses representative of the whole country. In a short period, you’ll be able to admire different architectural styles and many other stories.

*Casa Ceausescu Museum is open from Tuesdays to Sundays. On Mondays, you will be visiting the Palace of the Parliament. Passports are required for the entrance into the Parliament.
